The
40 Days of seeking God’s Face in prayer are now over, but the prayer keeps
going on. What an amazing 40 Days, though!! Many of you went deeper with God.
The
40 Days of Worship were awesome. Over 15,000 people joined together in worship
at 55 venues across our state. What amazes me is that close to 350 pastors
joined together to bring this about.
God
is doing something. What specifically He is doing is yet to be revealed.
Some
of you have asked me, “What now?” “What next?”
That’s
a great question. But we have to be careful how we answer it. If we try to
figure this out by ourselves then we will most likely miss out on the great
thing God wants to do.
With
this in mind, I believe there are a different set of questions that needs to be
asked. “What has God been up to?” When we figure this out, then we need to do
all that we can to join Him in this work.
This
is the way Jesus figured out what to do. He believed His Father was at work.
When He saw God at work, He joined Him. He said it this way in John 5:19, “Truly,
truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what He
sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does
likewise.”
Where
do you see God at work?
It
is there where we will find what we are to do next.
