Transform

On Wednesday, Christy and the boys were in the garden and found this caterpillar, a black swallowtail.

They took the caterpillar in so that we could watch it transform into a butterfly. And it is doing just that, as it is about to pupate.

God wants to transform us by the Holy Spirit so that we can look like Jesus. Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 3:18 that when we look to Jesus, God transforms us. Paul writes, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

Thus, a simple question for me and for you: Are you being intentional about bringing yourself before God so that He can transform you? Do you want to be transformed? Are you doing the work to pupate so that God can transform you to look like Jesus?
