A Hope-Filled Beginning

Today at First Church, we begin our exciting 40-day opportunity, Seek His Face. I’ve been looking forward to this time for days.

I begin this day and these forty days with a powerful Scripture and a short hope-filled prayer.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21)

Heavenly Father, please do the immeasurably more in us and through us that will show off Your power and bring glory to Your Son, Jesus. Lord Jesus, may Your Kingdom come in our lives, our churches, our communities and our state. Holy Spirit, fill us with Your presence and power. Amen.
